# Features

## **Safe** 🦾

Our hybrid on and off-chain code is fully audited and uses advanced encryption to ensure tokens are kept safe in transit and arrive at the intended destination.

## **Cost** 💸

Sending funds between chains using **neuron** is very cheap compared to using first party bridges. Fees are kept minimal and used to increase collateral pools available on chains as well as pay of destination chain gas fees. See [Fees](/details/fees.md) for more information.

## **Lightning fast** ⚡

Transfers and as close to instant as possible between chains and wallets with faster finality than using native bridges. See [how it works](/details/how-it-works.md).

## **Private** 🔒

Transfers between addresses on chain or between chains using threshold encryption to securily execute transfers without revealing destination information. By selecting different destination addresses to the one that you deposited from, you can preserve the privacy of your on-chain transactions by breaking obvious links between wallets.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.goneuron.xyz/overview/features.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
